I produce my paintings using centuries old, traditional techniques. I use oil paints on hand-stretched and carefully prepared oil linen. Skills obtained through past dozen years mixed with my innate sensitivity allow me to capture exquisite portraits. Great attention to details and patience with which I create artworks guarantees their exceptional value and durability.
I have the skill required to create complex paintings containing many figures - human and animal (i.e. equestrian portraits ane equestrian event scenes). I have no trouble making art ranging from medium to large scale: from 30 x 40cm to 200 x 200cm and beyond if there is such need. Producing oil painting usually takes me about two months, due to the specifics of the technique.
Comissioning process usually goes as follows: I discuss with the Client painting's contents, photos on which the painting will be based are chosen and, in case of complex subjects, composition sketch agreed upon. Afterwards I quote the comission and set approximate time for completion. After the quote and advance payment is agreed upon, I begin my work on the comission.
I handle all the details necessary to assure that commisioned artpiece travels to you safely.
Bartłomiej Szostek
Born in 1995, I was raised in the beautiful forests and meadows in the vicinity of Łódź in Poland. Throughout the years 2014-2019, I studied at the Lodz Academy of Fine Arts, from which I graduated with honors at the Easel Painting specialty. I'm particularly interested in landscape and portrait painting.
